maybe, in addition to timing, the dancers doing "dance by" could wear some identifying costume or accessory item to show they are ready to respond in dance--
not thinking here of a themed "uniform" costume (but I do like what Body Cartography did in 2000--see www.bodycartography.org/arch/evnt.php4 and www.bodycartography.org/incl/m...ew.php4 )
